Yevgeniy A. Korshunov, M.D.
Yevgeniy A. Korshunov, M.D. is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee arthroplasty surgery. It includes hip and knee replacement as well as revisions, and treatment of periprosthetic joint infections and fractures.
Dr. Korshunov graduated magna cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a B.S. in biology while also minoring in chemistry. He received his medical degree with distinction in research and completed his orthopedic residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Following his residency, he completed the adult reconstructive fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Korshunov specializes in reconstruction of the hip and knee. He has authored research articles and book chapters on a variety of topics in the field of orthopedics and joint reconstruction. Dr. Korshunov is fluent in Russian.
