Keir A. Ross, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon committed to the treatment and management of sports-related injuries. His clinical expertise covers a wide range of advanced orthopedic procedures, including arthroscopic and reconstructive techniques of the shoulder, knee, hip, elbow, and ankle, tailored to both athletes and active individuals seeking optimal health and performance. He also performs joint replacements for arthritis of the shoulder, hip, and knee and treats fractures of both the upper and lower extremities.
Dr. Ross earned his Bachelor of Science with honors at Cornell University, where he was a member of the NCAA Division I ice hockey team, serving as captain his senior year. Dr. Ross received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and garnered numerous awards for his significant contributions to orthopedic research. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at New York University Langone Health, where he held academic and clinical leadership roles.
He then completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital. Here, he served as an assistant team physician for the New York Jets and the NFL Scouting Combine. Dr. Ross also serves as a physician for the Renzo Gracie Martial Arts Academy with locations across the New York area and several high schools in Westchester County.
Dr. Ross has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and serves as a reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine. His research, presented at various national and international conferences, focuses on the latest advancements in cartilage repair, sports medicine, and innovative surgical techniques.
