Mikayla O’Brien, PA-C

Mikayla O’Brien, PA-C, is a nationally board-certified and New York State-licensed Physician Assistant specializing in Orthopedics. Under the direction of Dr. Stephen Nicholas, Mikayla provides comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, patient education, interpreting diagnostic tests and assisting Dr. Nicholas in surgery.

Mikayla earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College, where she was a four-year member and President of both the Boston College Irish Dance team and the American Red Cross of BC. Before pursuing her PA education, she gained clinical experience as a medical assistant in both podiatry and pediatric practices on Long Island. She went on to complete her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Drexel University, where she was recognized as a Student Spotlight by Drexel’s College of Nursing and Health Professions.
