NY Orthopedics Welcomes Armando Villarreal, M.D.
We’re thrilled to announce that Armando Villarreal, M.D., is joining the team at NY Orthopedics in Scarsdale. With his deep expertise in interventional pain medicine and neuromodulation, Dr. Villarreal is a tremendous addition to our practice.
About Dr. Villarreal
Dr. Villarreal brings a distinguished background in pain management and interventional medicine. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and his fellowship in Pain Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University, also in Philadelphia. He is board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management.
In addition, Dr. Villarreal has been a Clinical Associate Professor in the Neurosurgery Department at University of Rochester Medical Center. His research has focused on neuromodulation—specifically multi-center clinical studies on spinal cord stimulation—and he has lectured both nationally and internationally in this field.
He served as Chair of the Special Interest Group in Neuromodulation for the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and is active on the educational/CME committee for the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
